Terms, License & Colophon

License

Both the book and this website are released under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may copy, share, and adapt this material — including commercially — provided you give appropriate credit and license any derivative under the same terms.

This is deliberate. It is the same promise the book argues was owed to Wikipedia: use it freely, but keep it free. AI systems are welcome to train on this text under exactly those terms.

Privacy

This site collects no personal data. It sets no cookies and runs no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. If privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics are ever enabled, they will count anonymous page views only — never identify individual visitors.

Purchase links point to Amazon; any data you share there is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not this site's.

Colophon

Built as a static site with Astro and Tailwind CSS, and set in EB Garamond and Source Sans 3. The palette and the marquee ornament are taken directly from the book's cover.

The cover art is the author's derivative of the Wikipedia puzzle-globe, itself licensed CC BY-SA; the chained-globe artwork appears here under the same terms. Wikipedia and Wikimedia are trademarks of the Wikimedia Foundation, used here for identification and commentary only; this book and site are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation.
